Oh Yeah!

Some of you were shocked that I’d never had a bagel w/Tofutti, so I just wanted to submit evidence that I indeed have.  And I’m proudly editing my Vegan Hundred!  So tasty with Tofurky…

    don’t tempt me! I only find the hydrogenated version of the stuff here.

    That looks fantastic! I feel silly asking but are bagels generally vegan? I always assumed they had egg so I never buy any.

    Jennifer—I know! I think I ate three of these over the past couple of days.

    Celine—That’s too bad. Have you tried asking the stores to carry the non-hydrog. kind?

    shellyfish—So true.

    VeganFabulous—I found these at a local store called New Seasons. They were the only ones that didn’t have an “egg wash” on them. I think most bagels don’t have eggs IN them, but then they screw things up by glazing the tops with eggs so they’re shiny. Boo!

    i’ve never had a bagel with tofutti either, but that looks super good. i love tofurky slices, they honestly go well on anything!
