Farmer’s Market Fruit

August 10, 2008

Sorry it’s been eternity since I’ve posted anything, & this isn’t a doozy of a post either. I’ve had summer classes, papers due, & caterings for work. Luckily, my professor gave us a 40 minute lunch break yesterday, so I had a chance to quickly peruse the goodies at the Farmer’s Market. I ended up scarfing a falafel sandwich (the best falafel I’ve ever eaten!) and got $8 worth of fruit–cherries, blueberries & nectarines, then I had to head back to class. Pretty fruit:

I’ve also read a couple more books, plus have a bunch of partially-read ones.

5.) Juniper by Monica Furlong

6.) Feminist Theory: From Margin to Center by bell hooks

That’s about it for now. I might make something in a little while, so if it’s deemed “photogenic,” I’ll post it.

Did you like Juniper? I read those books when I was a kid and loved them. Especially the second one, about Lena.
