12.) Patternmaster by Octavia Butler
I just finished this in the tub. It was definitely worth the $2.50 I paid for it at Powell’s! I can’t wait to read the prequel, Mind of My Mind, as well as the sequel, Survivor, which is apparently going for up to $600, used, on Amazon! I hope our libraries have a copy of it, for fuck’s sake!
